Can my XDm handle +P +P+ ammo? - Springfield XD Forum Tula is ok Some guns may not like the steel case (usually FTE's), and you can't reload it Some ranges forbid it because of that Velocity is highly overrated in a defensive handgun I didn't think so until I read several independent articles I switched from Speer Gold Dot 124 gr +p to Speer Gold Dot 147 gr standard
